Leo season is in full swing. Out is the insular world of Cancers, in is the embodiment of Leos: life, expression, creativity. Good thing Junglepussy has been taking notes. The multi-hyphenate rapper and actress is back with new music and a new video to boot. In typical fashion, she slinks over the beat, cooly telling us to “step up your effortless and whatnot.” Fitting, as the new single is aptly called “Effortless Part One.”

The energies Leos are known for — charisma, adventurousness, confidence — are infused throughout her discography, dating back to 2014’s breakthrough Satisfaction Guaranteed. When not making music, like her most recent mixtape JP5000, Junglepussy has been busy at work on Paul Thomas Anderson’s upcoming epic The Battle of Baktan Cross, alongside Leonardo DiCaprio, Regina Hall and more. What did I say about those creative energies?
